Sacrifice as Currency
This theme interrogates the role of sacrifice as a catalyst for change or a tool of control. Characters grapple with the moral weight of intervention, giving up something precious to achieve transformation or survival. Sacrifice can be exploited by oppressive systems, but it can also be a deliberate act that sparks revolutions and breaks cycles of oppression, reframing loss as a bridge between despair and hope.
