Pluie-Tracking Scientists

Wildlife Research, Conservation Planning, and Environmental Policy Advocacy

Description

A loose coalition of conservation-minded scientists and advocates who combine long-term wildlife monitoring with public advocacy to advance large-scale connectivity projects. They stage theatrical policy pitches (as in the Roosevelt Room), present Pluie the wolf’s tracked movements to argue for an 1,800-mile wolves-only roadway, supply empirical movement data and technical plans, and press policymakers directly while lacking a formal hierarchical bureaucracy. They clash with ranching interests and test political realities.
