Arab diggers conceal themselves in its open beds as the convoy advances. Parked on a rise overlooking Tanis, it serves as staging for the crew. Later, an Arab digger drives it with Indy and Sallah riding in the back, disguised as workers to slip past Nazis into the dig site.
