Path to Casa Madrigal

The path rises from the town toward the Madrigal family home, its weathered stones uneven underfoot. Dry earth gives way to sparse patches of grass where roots struggle to survive. The journey upward is short but steep, a physical test the children delight in ignoring as they race past, their laughter cutting through the unnatural quiet. At the crest, the house’s crumbling façade looms—a silent witness to their carefree passage, the contrast between their joy and the looming collapse almost unbearable.
