The thug revives amid the flames, draws the weapon, and attempts to target Indiana Jones or Marion Ravenwood, but is fatally shot by Marion before firing a single round. This compact sidearm, characteristic of Nazi-issued firearms, serves as a symbol of the thug's violent intent and the escalating danger of the scene. The pistol remains unused in his lifeless grip as the saloon collapses around him.
