A coarse heap of noranium chunks and scorched supply sacks: silvery, glassy ore fragments mixed with blackened cloth and oil-dark residues. The pile measures several feet across, unstable and ragged, its surfaces pockmarked from prior burns and chemical etching. When deliberately ignited it flakes and vaporizes into a thick, choking gray cloud; Riker rigs a short fuse and gestures the away team into position as Worf, Data and Geordi press close for cover while the pile hisses and roils into smoke.
