Lieutenant Kwan's Nacelle Control Console

During Deanna Troi's investigation, her psychic probe of the console's interfaces triggers a crushing empathic surge—panic and dread from the ship's lingering empathic echoes—causing her to double over in distress. The console's screens and controls hold silent keys to Kwan's duality (brilliance vs. ambition) and the unfolding trauma surrounding his suicide. Lieutenant Nara later finds Troi collapsed nearby, the console continuing to radiate residual empathic echoes of Kwan's emotional state.
