A set of crude, cylindrical antimatter canisters installed in the capacitors of Pakled turret banks aboard The Mondor. Each charge is sheathed in hammered metal plating with bolt-on clamps and hand-scrawled maintenance marks; faint blue coronaing and occasional sparking betray their unstable tuning. Weapon-force meters and braided power conduits feed directly from their mounts. Geordi stands before them, reading meters and manipulating calibration controls under duress while Grebnedlog and Reginod watch the charge-readouts with obsessive vigilance.

Purpose
To serve as expendable high-energy power sources that increase the output of Pakled turrets by injecting concentrated antimatter energy into the weapons' firing capacitors.
Significance
Functioning as the coercive fulcrum in the scene, the charges escalate the kidnappers' threat by promising more lethal firepower and force Geordi into humiliating compliance. The proposed increase of these charges drives the tactical stakes, motivates Geordi's deceptive sabotage, and creates the immediate setup for Riker's nonlethal counterplay.
