A handful / cluster of torn, smoking mechanical-organic fragments taken from a destroyed/fallen Borg scout: palm-to-fist- and thumb-length alloy plates and servos, stripped interface nodes, braided conduits, miniature power couplers, cracked ocular sensor clusters and assimilation node cores, and scorched nanofiber/biopolymer sheaths. Pieces show singe marks and flecks of organic residue where living tissue merged with circuitry; some steam faintly. The modules were ripped free by a second Borg unit and absorbed, leaving sensors and crew to register the sudden loss—evidence both forensic and tactical.
