Duck Blind Metal Frame Port
A recessed metal frame/port embedded in the interior of the camouflaged duck blind, roughly palm-to-forearm sized with a jagged rim and recessed connector housings. The frame is made of a dull conductive alloy, scored by scorch marks and hairline arcs where insulation failed. When Liko peers through and contacts the port it emits a violent electrical discharge, sparking and throwing him backward; characters later note residual burn patterns and use the location as the focal point for power restoration.

Purpose
Serves as an access/maintenance port and electrical interface for the blind's concealed systems—functioning as a circuit node or connector for the holographic camouflage/transport-power hardware that the ship's crew later reenergizes.
Significance
Acts as the catalytic physical trigger for the plot: the discharge maims Liko, precipitates Beverly's unauthorized medical beam, and anchors Liko's traumatic memory (and the name 'Picard') that ignites later cultural and religious upheaval among the Mintakans.
