Iconian Control Room Interface Panels (including Indicator Lights)
A bank of low-profile Iconian consoles and associated indicator lamps: rectangular and triangular inset screens and rings of indicator lights that emit cold, crystalline glyphs and pulsing amber, blue, crimson and green-tinged washes across matte duralike bezels. Some panels show vector tracings and launch-sequence schematics while other segments flash diagnostic triangles; linear indicator lamps embedded along the consoles pulse in sequence when the gateway activates, throwing hard reflections across metal ribs and marking sudden surges of alien power. Surfaces lack familiar Starfleet tactile overlays and respond to the Iconian program’s signals. The combined assembly provides the operational readouts and visual status cues used by Picard, Data and Worf during the gateway sequence.

Purpose
To display and control the Iconian gateway’s operational state — reporting power levels, diagnostic traces, and the launch/activation sequence so operators (or the program) can monitor or execute gateway functions.
Significance
Provides the crucial technical clues (power source and launch sequence) that allow Picard to devise the denial plan; the panels’ output also precipitates Data’s positronic failure, making the consoles central to the moral and tactical turning point of the scene.
