Object
Geordi's Pit Mud Mold
A dense, clay‑rich mud lining the walls and floor of the smothered pit, packed into a short cylindrical cavity sized for a hand‑length pole. Dark, gritty with small mineral flecks, it holds pressed form long enough for molten ore to be poured and shaped. Geordi presses and sculpts the mud by hand, then pours molten ore into the cavity and later strips the hardened cast free.
