Dust and corrosion fill its crevices; small indicator lights sputter and a warped speaker emits hiss and a distorted voice when Data injects power. The unit, found beside a bleached skeleton, projects a degraded but intelligible audiovisual record (Galek Sar’s confession) that reframes the wreck and drives the crew’s investigation.
