Borg Drone Alcove (Stasis Slots)

A continuous field of human-sized recessed alcoves/stasis slots built into the matte, pale bio‑mechanical walls of a Borg vessel. Each vertical compartment fits a body like a coffin and includes hinged hatches, arm‑rest interfaces, braided conduits, clamps and wiring ports that mate to shoulder and spine-level circular interfaces; faintly pulsing circuitry or green luminescence surrounds head recesses and traces the slot rims. Surfaces show condensation, scuffing and residual stains; the slots function as containment, life‑support and hardwired neural access points that physically and mentally bind individuals into the Collective. The away team discovers these rows and responds with dread and tactical alarm as the structure demonstrates a living network rather than inert wreckage.
