Status LEDs and labeled activation pads glow pragmatic blue; bezels show light wear from frequent handover. During the event the panel hums with brief priority tones as PICARD taps its activation surface, opens a channel, then physically hands the Conn to RIKER—the unit becoming the immediate locus of command as hands shift and the bridge pivots toward Sickbay.
