Cryo Survivors

A small group of three disoriented civilians recovered from 20th-century cryogenic stasis and brought aboard the starship for immediate care and oversight. Their sudden awakening produces operational distraction; Captain Picard delegates custody to Commander Riker so command can focus on a larger external threat. Officer Data volunteers to assist Riker in their acclimation. The survivors function as vulnerable noncombatants whose presence forces short-term medical supervision, cultural adjustment, and occasional narrative intrusion (one later, named Ralph, breaks protocol).
