A discrete group of onlookers seated at the trial table who function as the social audience for courtroom proceedings. They sit watchful and largely silent, absorbing the holodeck replay and the exchange between witness, accused and tribunal. Their visible reactions — gasps, steady attention, brief shifts of posture — supply social punctuation to testimony, calibrate the room's moral temperature, and provide nonverbal cues that leaders and witnesses register when deciding whether to proceed or press advantage. They do not drive action directly but shape legitimacy through communal presence.
