Transgram Playback Device

A small, rectangular device with a pulsating amber interface light, designed to project holographic transgrams—recorded messages that can simulate three-dimensional presence. Engin uses it to play a historical transgram about Rassilon, its projection flickering slightly as Spandrell and the Doctor watch, their expressions shifting from curiosity to realization. The device’s controls are responsive to touch, with no visible buttons or switches.
