Harold's Corpse

The still form of Harold’s body lies prone on the grated floor of the Waiting Zone, its limbs stretched awkwardly from the confinement and rough handling before its removal. The flesh has taken on a waxy gray pallor, the lips slightly parted as if whispering the regime’s final truth—torture does not end with death. Priscilla and the Doctor stand over the body, the Doctor’s probing questions forcing a confrontation with the cost of obedience. Previously cataloged as 'Corpse of the Political Prisoner' but confirmed to be Harold's corpse.
