Creeper Restraint

A length of coarse vined material, its fibers dark with sap or age, slithering unnaturally around Tegan’s limbs when Aris suddenly drops it over her shoulders. It coils swiftly and silently, cinching tighter with a visible tension that startles her before she can react. Its motion defies physics—no end is visible until it tightens, then vanishes as if reabsorbed into the undergrowth.
