Forest Beyond Irongron's Hall

A dense woodland of towering oak and yew trees, their gnarled roots twisting through damp loam and carpeted with brittle fallen leaves. The forest's canopy shrouds the undergrowth in perpetual twilight, broken only by slivers of moonlight filtering through breaks in the branches. Birds stir uneasily in the branches as Irongron's men ready their mounts, the sudden intrusion of torchlight and hooves driving creatures deeper into the trees. The air carries the scent of damp earth and pine needles, sharp with the metallic tang of anticipation from the warparty's arrival.
