The bottle is half-empty, its contents now lukewarm and unappetizing, discarded without ceremony as Hyde's crisis absorbed all attention. Its utilitarian design contrasts with the desperate improvisation unfolding around it, having been scavenged by the group for their crude time-controlling device before being deemed insufficient for the task. The Brigadier’s dismissive tone toward its inclusion reflects its inadequacy.
