A squat concrete structure pressed into service as U.N.I.T.'s British command node, its olive-green façade reinforced by sandbagged barricades and floodlights casting jagged pools of sterile white over the wet tarmac. A sand-scratched Land-Rover idles at the gate with its radio mast whining, while a second is being backed up to the service entrance where the Doctor and Jo arrive. The building’s rear lot shows scorch marks from earlier antimatter reactions, its staff doors dented from repeated battering as the hostile entity vanishes back down the same storm drain that once housed Doctor Tyler’s experiment.
