Object
V-Ship
The V-Ship is a Space Corps long-range surveillance vessel, commanded by General Hermack from its flight deck. It serves as the central command hub for Corps operations, coordinating with ground control stations such as the Issigri Mining Office and transport craft like the Minnow. During the atomic detonation crisis orchestrated by Maurice Caven, the V-Ship’s flight deck becomes a tactical hub, directing real-time pursuits—including Ian Warne’s Minnow interception—and issuing strategic retreat orders. Piloted by Navigator Penn, the ship later orbits distantly, arriving post-incident to investigate. Caven exploits this delayed arrival to frame Milo Clancey, using the V-Ship’s surveillance profile to isolate the protagonists. Though initially a proactive command platform, the V-Ship ends the crisis as a peripheral instrument of deception, its authority subverted by Caven’s machinations.
