TARDIS Console Chair
The TARDIS Console Room Chair is a fixed seating object in the console room of the Doctor's time machine, distinct from the ship itself. Over the years, it has served as an unobtrusive anchor for the crew: Ian Chesterton slumped into it after a violent lurch left him disoriented, and it later became a quiet perch for the Doctor during his diagnostic work and size restoration experiments on the TARDIS seed. Always positioned near the central console and table, the chair facilitated group observations of shrinking and vanishing objects as well as collaborative troubleshooting against scanner static interference. By the time the Doctor encountered a hostile voice threatening his companions, the same chair became a symbolic focal point of his isolation and exhaustion, a place where he could sit alone in the face of an unseen adversary. Though physically unchanged, its role has shifted from a spot of recovery and scientific demonstration to a seat of solitary confrontation.
