Object
Zygon Transport Ship Escape Hatch
A reinforced metal hatch embedded in the floor of the sickbay, its outer section buckled and scorched from repeated strikes. The emergency release lever glows faintly from repeated use, its mechanism whining under Salamar’s frantic attempts to jettison the antimatter containment before the ship's engine core fails completely. The Doctor and Sarah ignore its hissing hydraulics as they focus on survival, while Salamar treats it as his single chance to regain control or die trying. Vishinsky locks it down as part of his containment protocols, the hatch becoming both barrier and coffin for the crew.

Purpose
To serve as a controlled emergency exit for antimatter containment breaches and a bulkhead seal to partition sections of the probe vessel during system failures.
Significance
The hatch becomes the focal point of the crew's final struggle for survival, representing both salvation and doom. Its locked state mirrors Vishinsky's acceptance of неизбежность (inevitability) as the antimatter corruption spreads unchecked.
