Burning One

An elusive, possibly metaphysical entity sought by Nimrod for answers and referenced by the Doctor as having an agent with whom a deal was made. The Burning One appears in occult contexts as a source of forbidden knowledge or power, capable of commanding supernatural forces though not directly observed. Its agency is implied through others' urgent pursuit and cryptic references to its danger.
