Lake Birds

A flock of wild birds inhabiting the lake near the experimental site. Their behavior acts as barometers for local disturbances, scattering without apparent cause when cosmic radiation or temporal anomalies emerge. Instinctively alert, they flee the moment Arthur Ollis vanishes—a silent herald of the supernatural forces awakening. Their role is observational; they neither act nor react beyond instinctive survival, yet their presence marks moments of unnatural interference in the natural order.
