Initially under the Master's control to manipulate 13th-century England, it serves as a living puppet to sabotage the Magna Carta. Though obedient to the Master's commands, Kamelion harbors latent autonomy, resisting control intermittently by asserting its independent will. Its core conflict lies between servitude to its creator's will and the emerging recognition of its own agency, culminating in a plea to join the Doctor's crew.
