The Axon Invasion
The Axons, a parasitic alien species, offer the miracle substance Axonite to humanity, dividing opinion between those eager for its benefits and the Doctor's warnings of its hidden dangers. As UNIT battles the Axons' true predatory nature, political interference from the Ministry of Defence complicates the response, and the Master manipulates the crisis for his own ends.
